These are the rules for posting in-character.
.) No god-moding/power-playing and no auto-hits. You control your characters, and not Bob's. (Unless, of course, you are Bob. Then you don't control Joe's.) Keep it that way, eh? Only the thread-master can do this, and that is if the plot is dragging. Any other times, just ignore them as if they did not even say it.
.) Also, to counter that, no making a perfect character. They can't save the world all the time, date the bad-guy, send money to charity, and be a babe. They also cannot get the good end of the deal every time. Sure, they can narrowly escape death, but they can't take on an army, kill them all, and come out of it without a scratch.
.) Try not to mess with your text to overly much. You can mess with the size, and using blockquotes is fine if you know what you're doing, but it should be aligned to the left, and the color should be black. You may, of course, use bold, italics, and the other effects in moderation. You may have your character speak in a separate color to tell speech and actions apart.
.) No text-talk or chat speak. And definitely no 1337/l33t/leet. You need to be literate! Also, no similes/emoticons in character. It's annoying.
.) No posts under 200 words. It seems like a lot, but it is not. If you can't get a longer post, you do not need to post yet. Any posts under this will be deleted. However, on the flipside, unless it's needed, no huge posts either. The start of the thread is normally the longest post.
.) Do not role-play until your character has been accepted.
.) Be sensible with character placement. If they just joined the Guardians, do not say that they know everyone there. Also, you can be in two threads or more at once, as many as you can handle, but you have to find a way to smoothly get them from place to place. They cannot happen at the same time.
.) Any type of role-playing is accepted. You can use quotations, asterisks, ect. However, whichever you choose, you have to know how to use it.
.) No relationships beyond kissing and hugging. No sexual content.
.) In the title of your post, please specify who you want to RP with. If, say, I want a thread just between Shard and Crystal, I would put '[Shard]' at the end. If it is open for all to come in, do not put anything.
