Anyhow, this is where we will come to plan everything out. So, first things first. A plot! Idea spam. Go. xD

Groovy. Umm... Lemme think.

We of course need a general/OOC board, sections for character information, roleplaying boards for each general area... A "world map" of sorts might be helpful to go along with that last one. FAQS and walkthroughs on subjects like roleplaying and site policy, and whatever else might be asked about a lot might would be helpful if we expect a lot of newcomers. So like, rather than us answering questions directly, we could refer them to the "rulebook" or whatever.

Maybe if we found a way to branch out a bit, we might be a little more successful at keeping a community. Sort of like a franchise. Exactly what to branch out into, I don't know. We probably shouldn't stray too far from our roots, though. Any ideas for my idea? xD

Hmm. I'm not sure what you mean by that last bit. Like, we should make it some kind of twisted Redwall story, but still keep it in the same genre. So instead of evil vermin villain, there'd be an evil mouse villain?

I just had one. It's bad, but a plot idea. It draws on the fact that GoM is pretty much dead and that Shard's foreign and Crystal's, well, a murdering bitch. xD That reminds me. I need to turn off cussing blockers... The idea is that somebody from Shard's homeland has come to talk to shard and ask him to come home for something. However, something happens to him on his way back and The-place-with-no-name's leader says that shard's current company (AKA Crys) has killed him. They make an advance to get justice, and it pushes small groups (such as the Guardians) to become hostile against them, fearing violence. The Guardians plead for time, knowing that they do not have the forces to stand and fight, and promise to find out what really happened to the messenger.

S'not bad. I just need to start writing. I haven't worked out how Shard figures out that he's from another continent though... If you put up a board for biographies and such, I'll go ahead and type it all out.

EDIT: What should the site's favicon be? The favicon, if you dunno what it is, is the icon that appears beside the site's name in a tab and stuff.

I'm going to make a few boards now, while I have some spare time. I don't get much computer time at my sister's. Going to make a board for profiles, a board for rules and site guides, and a board for lengthy character info. Refer to xdisenchantedx.proboards.com to see what I mean about board making, because that's how I do it. I might make the profiles a bit... Easier to fill out, you know.

So, uh, whatcha think of the skin? I know it's kinda bright but. GoM's not depressing... xD I can whip up another quick if you want. This took about 15 minutes. Though I do like the banner. ;3

Also, I need to find similes... I might get the bunny and bear ones from another site I admin'd.

Anyhow, also. We need to figure out site rules. So, uh...
1) About cursing in RPs. I think we should be able, personally. My characters are influenced by pirates, so they have some pretty vulgar language. However, I think if somebody enters the RP, they could ask you politely to not use it unless needed.
2) Uh, no sex scenes. Not budging on this one. Just no. Kiss, hug, flirt, fade to black.
3) My last thing is post length. I think in-character posts should have to be a certain length. Seriously. If I see a one-liner, I'm going off one somebody. 200-300 words a post is pretty easy. I normally get over a thousand. Not to offend anyone, but... on a site I did with Raiden, he pushed 100-words a post. That's kinda few. This post alone is more than that.

Oh, dude, when you get back on and see this... I need you to make an avatar. If you don't have one in the next few days, I'll use your old one from the other GoM.
